Phase Two

The second phase of work took place after the publication of the Transformational Government strategy and reviewed the impact that this was having practice through interviews with senior managers.

Phase One

The first phase of the project investigated the question:How can ICT deliver quality, choice and efficiency in public services?

It built on a literature review and surveys of:

  • 1,000 members of the public
  • 500 front-line staff working in public services
  • Interviews with 25 senior managers.
