How ICT? Managing at the front line , the third in the Adobe-sponsored ‘Public Services and ICT’ series, examines how effectively ICT is being implemented in frontline services. It aims to answer the following three questions:
1. What are public service workers’ views about ‘better’ public services and the role that ICT might play in achieving this vision?
2. What are public service workers’ views on how public services are managed now and the way in which this could be improved?
3. How can ICT be more effectively implemented in public services to improve the quality of delivery?
It aims to illuminate how ICT projects are working at the frontline and to understand whether lessons are being learned — or whether the same mistakes are being played out time and again.
