Winners and finalists of the 23rd Workworld Media Awards were honoured at a ceremony at The Work Foundation on 19 January 2010. Greg Dyke, former BBC director general and chair of the British Film Institute gave the keynote address.
The prestigious WorkWorld Media Awards recognise outstanding written and broadcast journalism covering the fields of work, management, business and economics. This year they were sponsored by EDF Energy.
A prominent panel of judges reviewed entries for eight award categories:
Reporter of the Year;
Feature Journalist;
Columnist of the Year;
Broadcast Programme;
Broadcast News Reporter of the Year;
Journalist to Watch;
Online Journalist and
Lifetime Achievement.

Jeff Prestridge, personal finance editor from the Mail on Sunday
