The Work Foundation initiated the Workplace Trends Survey in 2003 as a rolling snapshot of the critical emerging factors in business strategy and people management. Based on a sample of 1,000 UK employers, the survey is a definitive benchmark and key data source that allows organisations to compare their strategies, policies and practices with others
Workplace Trends is accessible only to principal partner organisations for 3 months after it is completed. They have exclusive use of the full survey results, which:
- Give a cumulative picture of trends in a representative sample of UK workplaces
- Identifies the factors that most influence key aspects of business performance across sectors
- Provides an early warning of the pressures, concerns and responses that organisations anticipate in the near future
- Allows investigation and measurement of emerging trends and practices, as they happen
Now in its fourth year, the survey has built up a clear view of the structural and organisational changes they have experienced, what strategies they are pursuing, which HR practices they use, how they envisage the future of their organisation.
