While studying at the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies at University College, London, Ksenia was involved with a qualitative and quantitative research project focusing on the economic and social development of countries in the former Soviet bloc. For her master’s thesis she evaluated the adjustment strategies and psychological wellbeing of Polish migrants returning home from the UK.
With fluency in four European languages and experience in cross-cultural research, Ksenia received a two-year grant from the Russian Science Academy to advise Moscow’s government on migrant inclusion in the labour market.
Ksenia joined The Work Foundation in 2010 to support research on the Future of HR programme. She has since been involved in a number of people management, leadership and health and wellbeing projects at the Centre for Workforce Effectiveness. Ksenia is currently leading research on several countries for a large-scale Fit for Work study and is investigating the outcomes of Good Work for employee health, resilience and productivity.
